Young Greenwich app for iPhone and iPad

Young Greenwich is where you can have fun, meet new friends, learn new skills and fulfil your potential.

Sessions run from youth hubs and venues across the Royal Borough of Greenwich for 10-19 year olds and up to 25 with SEND.

The Young Greenwich app is a digital hub to engage with the youth of the area.

When logged in, the app will signpost the young person to all relative events close to them, offering directions from their current location, times and a synopsis of the local activity. These events will be either Young Greenwich activities or partner programmes that may captivate the young person depending on their interests.

The app will sync with the users respected social media pages (if chosen), informing their friends, family and followers where they are and what event they are at/have attended.

For regular visits at certain venues and events, the young person can be rewarded for their loyalty with a rewards scheme feature. Logging into their app when at the venue, an authorised staff member can enter a passcode to approve their attendance, edging them closer to a gift of the venues choice.

The app will also offer free, important information about trending topics related to the young person, helping them at a time when talking face to face with someone can be difficult, in-appropriate or embarrassing. The trends section will offer valuable content to help educate youth, with directions to the most appropriate physical outlet at the bottom of the section.

Finally, the app will let the youth have their say, with a Your Voice feature giving them a chance to have input on the area. The young person can offer feedback on events, venues and facilities as well as advice and ideas on how to better engage the youth of the borough.
